This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hey Evan! Hey do you mind if ask what resolution you do your Dusk comic in? I've been neglecting my project as of late, working on commission pieces (admana and fallen angel of dissonance) but want to get back to the grind. My one problem is I feel I'm taking on a huge task with my images being 11x17" (150 dpi)... is that too big? deviantART muro drawing
11x17 should be completely fine. I might even kick it up to 200 if you plan on getting it published on paper or anywhere outside the web, but I'm not really one to ask because I'm not totally familiar with all that stuff.
I think your jaw would drop if you found out what dpi I've been using on my DUSK comic... I've actually been doing a 6x9 format at 600 dpi, haha. Simply because I have a lot of very tight details and I hate it being pixelated when I'm zoomed way in. Plus I feel like it has something to do with the Manga Studio program; I've never done anything over 300 when I did stuff in Photoshop. I'm just being safe about it because I want to get it printed in the future, and I'd hate it to be pixelated after doing 100 like pages.
Thanks for the Fav EVAN! It's been a while since I've seen you man, hope all is well on your end. On a side note check it out, me and some old friends started a webcomic too: [link] only 1 page done so far lol but I am putting a lot of effort into each one.
No problem! I stalked your stuff for a while, haha; I always enjoy viewing your art. And yeah, it's been a while and I hope things are going good for you too.
So far your guys' comic project is looking sweet and I'll be sure to keep up to date on it
